Following the Eaton Fire, a Southern California healthcare organisation wanted to document the response of a hospital that had cared for its community through an extraordinary period.
The challenge was not finding a story.
The challenge was telling it with the people who had lived it.
Doctors.
Nurses.
Leaders.
Staff.
People who were supporting patients while dealing with disruption and loss in their own lives.
Our role was simple.
Listen carefully.
Ask good questions.
Let the people closest to the story tell it.
